Effect of hyaluronic acid-enriched transfer medium on frozen–thawed embryo transfer outcomes in RIF patients: a single-centre retrospective study

Introduction Many patients who undergo assisted reproductive technology (ART) suffer from recurrent implantation failure (RIF). The addition of hyaluronic acid (HA) to the transfer medium is one several methods improve pregnancy outcomes. We investigated whether HA could live birth and clinical rates RIF patients. Methods This study included 248 patients, were divided into two groups: control (CTL) group (n=137), which received without HA, (n=111), with HA. groups compared according ART outcome. Results primary outcomes rates. Secondary include a positive urine test, implantation, ongoing pregnancy, multiple miscarriage, ectopic rates, foetal or congenital defects, obstetric complications, infant weight any related adverse events. Regarding outcomes, rate was significantly higher in than group, there no significant difference (LBR) between groups. secondary similar Discussion Our findings supported conclusion that can undergoing FET cycles, but not improved traditional medium.
